Some thicker segments might not have leaves. Each cutting comes with multiple nodes so that you can choose to root these whole, or cut them into at least two segments each so you can root 2 large, or 4 smaller specimens.

Cuttings are taken fresh per order.

Cuttings will be treated with rooting hormone.

We recommend rooting these in a well draining soil mix (we use 50/50 perlite to peat moss) over a seed germination heat mat, or in a warm window or greenhouse. They need humidity while rooting and while small. A large enough clear Tupperware type tote works well. Cuttings usually root within about 2 weeks in these conditions. They can take longer if conditions are less than optimal but be patient! As long as it’s still green and hasn’t dried up and died, it can still throw roots and grow.
